As a result of the Eleventh (11th) Provincial Judges Remuneration Commission (PJRC) report, the Provincial Judges’ Pension Plan (PJPP) was recently amended to temporarily suspend the administration of earnings-based limits.

This amendment affects retired judges serving on a part-time basis, allowing their pension payments to go unreduced regardless of the number of days they may serve.

This amendment is effective immediately and will remain in force until March 31, 2026 and is jointly supported by the government and the Association of Ontario Judges (AOJ).
