Insured benefits

You, your eligible spouse and eligible children can be covered as dependents under Canada Life’s insured benefits plan, which is identical to your pre-retirement benefits coverage. Should you choose to include coverage for your eligible spouse and/or children, you can elect a Family coverage and enroll your dependents by contacting OPB, who will provide you with a form to complete.

Please note that if your surviving spouse is receiving a survivor allowance from the plan, they are also covered for insured benefits for themselves only.
