Board members
The Board is responsible for the administration of the PJPP benefits for provincial judges. Members are appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council, who also designates a chair from among the member group. Deborah Anne Oakley, Chair
Debbie Oakley is Chair of the PJPB after previously serving as a member of the PJPB. She is currently closely involved in implementing the Plan redesign and plan governance reform initiatives. For several years, she held a variety of senior positions in the Ontario Government including with the Ministry of the Attorney General and with Management Board Secretariat. More recently Ms. Oakley was for over a decade a senior executive with the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System (OMERS) where during her tenure, and among her many responsibilities, she led the reform of OMERS Governance. She currently sits as a member of the Board of Innocence Canada and of the Board of the Innocence Canada Foundation. She holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from the University of Toronto.
Elizabeth Boyd
Elizabeth Boyd is a Partner with the Pension Benefits & Executive Compensation Group of Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP. She works with plan sponsors and administrators in both the private and public sectors, as well as financial institutions and various consulting firms. She is a member of the Pension and Tax Section of the Ontario Bar Association and a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation. She is also a former member of the Elizabeth Fry Society Board of Directors. Ms. Boyd holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto.
Gus Gatzios
Gus Gatzios has worked over 15 years in senior corporate and private market investment positions at OMERS Strategic Investments. Most recently he was the President of Rosewater Global, a Global Strategic Investment Alliance for Infrastructure Investments. He is currently an angel investor with Keiretsu Forum, the largest global investment community of accredited private equity angel investors and he participates on the investment selection committee. He is a CPA and graduate of University of Toronto and Seneca College.
Kevin Adolphe
Kevin Adolphe has over 35 years of global experience in real estate, asset management and financial services. Previously, as President and CEO, Manulife Asset Management Private Markets, and President and CEO, Manulife Real Estate, Kevin commercialized Manulife’s Private Asset Management capabilities to clients and investors worldwide. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Professional Accountants (Ontario), a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors and serves on the Rogers Bank and Mosaic Capital Boards.
