There is no set timeframe for recruitments, though we seek to complete them as expeditiously as possible. Timing depends on a variety of factors, such as the number of positions under recruitment at any given time, the number of applicants, etc. Applicants who are selected to participate in the interview process will be contacted by Human Resources and invited to participate in an initial telephone/virtual interview. At each step of the recruitment process, the HR team will remain in regular contact with candidates to provide updates on next stages as well as approximate timelines.
OPB’s Hybrid Work Program, which is applicable to the majority of positions within OPB, is designed to support purposeful work, connection and collaboration, whether work is completed on site in the office or from home. Our current program requires employees to work on site in the office a minimum of three days per week, with flexibility depending on job and team responsibilities and operational needs.
Many of OPB’s positions are represented by the Ontario Public Service Employees Union (OPSEU). Other roles, including management roles and certain individual contributor roles, are not represented by OPSEU.
At OPB, we believe that a collaborative, supportive, and respectful environment is essential to our success. Our people-centric approach is based on our corporate values, and our purpose-driven work occurs in a caring and collegial environment in which we seek to leverage everyone’s unique ideas, perspectives, and experiences.
